I want to know Jesus!

We are all sinners. It’s true, we all sin and we know that sin separates us from God.  A Holy God cannot not accept sin in His presence and because of this, sin can and does keep us out of the company of the Lord.

If God is so loving, why can’t He just overlook my sin?  That is a good question.  The answer is God’s love is true and real true and honest love always includes justice.  I mean, if I love someone I should also treat them justly, or correctly right?  Like a judge in a court room, if a crime was committed and the judge allowed the criminal to go free without dealing with the crime, would that be loving?  No, truly to be just, that crime would have to be dealt with.

Can we deal with sin ourselves?

The simple answer is no. Once we steal we are a thief and once we lie we are a liar.  No good acts in our lives can erase the bad we have done in the past.  The only One that can deal with our sin in our past, present and future is JESUS.  Only Jesus has the power to cleanse us forever and help us change our hearts to stop sinning.  Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father – We know that God is perfect. We know that man is imperfect and sinful. The only way God could resolve this serious sin issue was to send His Son, Jesus, to take our place and to pay the price for our sins.

Why Jesus? Because Jesus, who was both God and man, without sin or fault, was uniquely qualified to bridge the gap between our sinful life and a holy God:  Because of this he was able to take our sin on himself.

Jesus Himself said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

The apostle Peter echoed Jesus’ words: “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).  Just JESUS!!  AMEN!

The cornerstone of the Salvation is Christ’s death and resurrection
Jesus’ final words on the cross were “It is finished!” This can be translated several ways.

What was finished?  – SIN – Those that accept JESUS as Lord and SAVIOR, accept this into their hearts, receive everlasting life and a place next to our Father in Heaven.  We can rest assured knowing that we have a place in Heaven.  We are SAVED from death.

Paul puts the gospel in a nutshell, “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried, and He rose again the third day.” – 1 Corinthians 15:3–4

And if you believe this, YOU have eternal life and a place in Heaven.  You will be forgiven of your sins and can rest on Jesus as your Lord to lead and guide you.

Accept JESUS now.  Thank Him for His sacrifice for you.

How do you do this?

All you need to do is believe and pray that Jesus died for your sins, was buried and rose again.

The Bible teaches us in Romans 10:9

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Jesus is Lord and He loves you.

Let Jesus break the chain of sin.   Free yourself and take Jesus into your heart.  Let Him lead and love you.

We are praying for you!
